HAVE YOU HAD SURGERY AND STILL IN PAIN?
Accuspina & post surgical procedures:
"Adjacent Segment Disease" (ASD)
Post-surgery spinal patients, especially those who have undergone spinal fusions, are highly susceptible to vertebral problems in the segments above or below the surgical area.
The spine functions as an interconnected chain. When one or more vertebrae are fused together and immobilized, the natural range of motion at that level is eliminated.
To compensate for this stiffness, the neighboring vertebrae (both above and below) are forced to work harder and absorb greater mechanical stress. Over time, this extra load and wear-and-tear can accelerate degeneration, leading to several issues at the adjacent levels due to compensating.
